'Employer pension TD' on the pay slip shown as sum of pension contribution of both employee and employer. Why?

This occurs if you have opted for salary sacrifice pension. If so, the employer contribution will be sent to the pension provider as the sum of both employee and employer contribution. So that you find 'Employee Pension TD' as zero and 'Employer Pension TD' as sum of pension contribution of both employee and employer on the pay slip. However, we do show this information on the pay slip as Salary Sacrifice pension(SS Pension) , so that employee will know what they sacrifice is for pension contribution.
