Unpaid Trade Dispute (On Strike). How to Setup?

If your employee is absent from work because of a trade dispute at the employee's place of work, and is participating or directly interested in the trade dispute then you can set the Unpaid Trade Dispute in the โ€œD1. Absence Deduction & Recordโ€ under the Deduction and Pension Section while processing the pay run and then E-file the FPS. This may affect their entitlement to Working Tax Credit.

Road Map โ€“ To Setup the Absence Deduction
Employer / Setup -> Chart of Setup -> Payment and Deductions -> Absence Deduction link --> Save button

Road Map โ€“ To Enter the Unpaid Trade Dispute Item
Pay Run -> Weekly / Monthly / 2 Weekly / 4 Weekly / Quarterly / Annual / Bi-annual -> Deduction & Pension -> Enter link -> D1. Absence Deduction & Record -> Save button
